Steel & Wheels exists to empower everyday athletes through an outdoor strength and conditioning program paired with a supportive community. We build confidence and capability to tackle adventures, live fully, and play harder beyond the gym.
We train everyday athletes for real life adventures.
While Steel & Wheels is a mobile gym, we train in a dedicated parking lot of Thousand Hills Church in Hickory Creek. This gives us plenty of room to move safely and intentionally and brings the gym outside and into real-world conditions.
No. All sessions are fully coached and scalable, so you can start at any level. We focus on effort, good movement, and steady progress, not where you’re starting from. If you have a body and a willingness to show up, you belong here.
Our trailer is fully equipped with barbells, weights, and conditioning equipment, allowing us to run high-quality strength and conditioning sessions outdoors. We recommend bringing your own water and a workout mat for comfort during certain movements and cool-down work.
We train in real-world conditions, but safety always comes first. If weather makes training unsafe, we'll communicate any changes or adjustments in advance and possibly move to an online format.
Simply book a session or reach out through the enquiry form. We’ll help you choose the right class and make sure you feel confident turning up to your first session.
